Synergy Custom Dashboards Functionality

Custom Dashboards functionality allows you to create and configure Summary and Standard Dashboards that can be available to view in Fusion.

Creating a New Summary Dashboard

Summary Dashboards are displayed at the top of the screen in Resolute Fusion and are configured to display an overview of data for the Customers portfolio. Only one summary dashboard can be configured and will be visible to all buildings.


1. Click [Create New Summary Dashboard] on the Custom Dashboards home page.

2. In the “New Summary Dashboard” dialog box, type a title, and optional description, and click [Create].

3. Click the [Configure] button on the New Summary Dashboard tile.

4. The Dashboard Builder screen will appear. Drag and drop a widget from the menu onto the screen to begin configuration.

Note: Click the "Widget Tips" icon at the bottom of the Widgets Menu to view more information about each type and data supported within each option.

5. In the Widget Properties pane, type a title and optional description for the widget.

6. Click the [Edit Points List] button.

7. A Point Selector pop-up will appear. Navigate to the Equipment with the desired point(s). Click the point to add to the widget, the point will appear in the Selected Points list.

Note: Buildings with points available will have a checkmark next to the name.

8. Click the [Select Points] button.

Note: The [Update Widget] button will only become active after the widget is given a title and points are selected.

9. Continue to add additional configurations for the widget if desired. Click [Update Widget].

10. The widget will appear on the New Summary Dashboard screen. Drag and drop from the Widgets menu to add more widgets to the Summary Dashboard.

Note: Use the "Fusion Visibility" toggle to allow the Dashboard to appear in Fusion.

11. Click the [Custom Dashboards] button on the top left of the screen to return to the home screen to view and create new dashboards.

Creating a New Standard Dashboard

Standard Dashboards are configured to view specific data sets for a building. Multiple Standard Dashboards can be configured for a building or set of buildings.


1. Click [Create New Standard Dashboard] on the Custom Dashboards home page.

2. In the “New Dashboard” dialog box, type a title and optional description.

3. Under Summary Dashboard, select either “Visible” or “Hidden”.

4. Under “Dashboard User Visibility” select which users will be able to view the dashboard.

5. Click [Create].

6. Click the [Configure] button on the Standard Dashboard tile.

7. The Dashboard Builder screen will appear. Drag and drop a widget from the menu onto the screen to begin configuration.

8. In the Widget Properties pane, type a title and optional description for the widget.

9. Click the [Edit Points List] button.

14. Click the [Custom Dashboards] button on the top left of the screen to return to the home screen to view and create new dashboards.

Editing a Dashboard

1. On the Custom Dashboards home screen, click the edit icon in the top right corner of the dashboard tile.

2. In the "Edit Dashboard" dialog box make the desired changes. Click the [Update] button. 

Editing Widgets

1. On the Custom Dashboards home screen, click the [Configure] button for the dashboard that contains the widget to be edited. 

2. Click on the widget and the Widget Properties pane will display the current configuration of the widget. 

3. Make the desired changes in the pane, then click [Update Widget].

Note: To change the order in which the widgets are displayed, hover over the edge of a widget until the crosshair tool is displayed. Then drag and drop the widget to rearrange.

Viewing Dashboards in Fusion

1. On the Custom Dashboards home screen, move the "Fusion Visibility" toggle to Visible for the dashboard you would like to view. 

2. Click the [Fusion] button in the top right corner of the screen.

3. Once in Fusion, click the Custom Dashboards icon in the side navigation menu.

Deleting Dashboards

1. On the Custom Dashboards home screen, click the edit icon in the top right corner of the Dashboard tile. 

2. Click the [Delete Dashboard] button. The Dashboard will be removed from the Custom Dashboards screen.

Deleting Widgets

1. On the Custom Dashboards home screen, click [Configure] for the dashboard that contains the widget to be deleted. 

2. Click on the widget, and in the Widget Properties pane, click the [Delete Widget] button. The widget will be removed from the dashboard.
