Computed Points Functionality
Computed Points functionality allows you to Disable and Enable Computed Points, view Prospects, and Generate Candidates for mapped equipment. Computed Points uses synchronous jobs, and you will be notified when jobs are completed. You should already be on the Computed Points screen of Synergy with points mapped for these directions.

Enabling Individual Computed Points
1. Click the "Disabled" tab.
2. Next to the "Asset” column, select individual Computed Points to enable by clicking the checkbox next to the associated Computed Point Candidate. The [Enable Selected] button becomes active.
Note: To deselect all Computed Points, click the select checkbox next to the "Asset" column.
3. Click the [Enable Selected] button. The Computed Point Candidates have now been moved to the Enabled tab.
Enabling All Computed Points
1. Click the "Disabled" tab.
2. Click the [Enable All] button at the bottom of the screen. All candidates will now be moved to the Enabled tab.
Note: You can also bulk-select Computed Points on the page by clicking the checkbox next to the "Asset" column heading.
Disabling Individual Computed Points
1. Click the "Enabled" tab.
2. Next to the “Asset” column, select individual Computed Points to disable by clicking the checkbox. The [Disable] button becomes active.
Note: To deselect all individual Computed Points, click the select checkbox next to the "Asset" column.
3. Click the [Disable] button. A confirmation pop-up will appear to confirm your selection.
4. Click the [Yes] button. The Computed Points will now appear in the Disabled tab.
Disabling Computed Points in Bulk
1. Click the "Enabled" tab.
2. Click the checkbox next to the “Asset” column heading. All Computed Points displayed on the page will be selected.
Note: Rules can only be disabled one page at a time. Use the pagination controls to view and select all Enabled Rules.
3. Click the [Disable] button. A confirmation pop-up will appear to confirm your selection.
4. Click the [Yes] button. Computed Points will now appear in the Disabled tab.
Generating Computed Point Candidates
New Computed Point Candidates are generated if a Computed Point instance is deleted or if changes are made to Point Tags or Equipment Types. These Computed Point Candidates are automatically generated every two hours. However, if you want to see the results of your changes immediately, you can do that on the Generate Candidates screen.
1. Click the “Generate Candidates” tab.
2. Click the checkbox next to the associated Building Name you want to generate Rule candidates for. The [Generate Candidates] button becomes active.
Note: To select all buildings, click the checkbox next to the "Building Name" column heading.
3. Click the [Generate Candidates] button. The Computed Point Candidates are generated and available for application.
Note: If new Computed Point candidates exist, they will be shown on the Disabled tab.
